To honor the people who have served our country, for each order you place that is $50 or more, we are donating a combination hygiene/first-aid kit to veterans through the San Francisco VA Medical Center. Additionally, we will send you a coupon worth 10% off your next order.  Good through this Veteran’s Day, November 11th, 2015.

The San Francisco VA Medical Center does not solicit for donations, nor do we allow the name of the VA to be used in solicitations through other organizations. However, for those organizations or individuals who inquire as to our needs, the following is a list you can use as a guide for our special needs, program support and/or equipment.

Welcome Home baskets for HUD VASH Veterans:  Some suggested items are new cleaning products, bath items, kitchen items and small appliances.

  • Gift Cards: movie tickets, local restaurants, local grocery stores, coffee gift cards, gas cards, Visa or American Express gift cards

Other Items:

Funds for the Following projects:

  • Hotel stays for veteran family member and/or caregivers of inpatients
  • Community Living Center (CLC) Cultural Change Programs:

These funds will be used to enhance the Residents living experience that will create a more home-like environment such as maintaining the fish aquarium and veterinary bills for the resident pet “Miley”  

  • Social Work fund for Veterans in need of assistance
  • National veteran recreation events such as:
  1. Veterans Creative Arts Festival
  2. National Veterans Wheelchair Games
  3. Veterans Golden Age Games
  4. Winter Sports Clinic
  5. Summer Sports Clinic
